There is more and more acceptance within orthodox medicine and the NHS. BAcC Members are required to follow strict guidelines:

Code of professional conducts:

• Relating to their professions duties, obligations to patients, ethical boundaries, legal and commercial obligations and standards of behaviour.

Code of safe practice:

• Relating to where treatment is carried out, clinical standards, disposal of equipment and clinical waste, personal injury guidance, maintenance of written clinic record, commitment to health and safety.
